I thought this would be a neat way to keep track of my knitting conquest and failures. I may also post a few thoughts I have. Who knows!
I am a yarn store owner who detests dowdy knits. Knitting can be fashionable, darn it! You can look good in the things that you wear. I'll prove it to you.
I recently joined the KAL (knit a long) for Knitty's Ribbon X-Back. I received my yarn this afternoon. It is Crystal Palace Deco-Ribbon in the Tulips colorway. Can't wait to get those needles clicking!

I think the yarn you've chosen is gorgeous! Can't wait to see how it knits up, I've been thinking about making the X-back myself.
Have you had a chance to start yet? Let me know if you have any questions about this yarn and the sizing. I think with this yarn you can get the sizing results you expect from the pattern if you follow it as written except you use size 10.5 needles instead of 11. Anyway, just offering unsolicted advice! Have fun - I love your color choice.
I just received the same yarn in Carnival colorway to make the top for my daughter! Did the swatch for gauge and love the feel of it while knitting. :)
