Knitty Heart Scarf
Yarn: Rowan Big Wool
What I Learned: PSSO, three needle bind-off, more work on lacey stuff, blocking
Comments: I made this for my mom for Christmas. I love the Rowan yarn! It is great to hold. This knit fairly quickly, and I think the heart pattern is beautiful. Even though I blocked it, it still curls some on the edges.

Knitting 102 Class Project
Name: Face cloth
Yarn: 100% cotton Rowan DK (I'm not sure of the name)
What I leared: Lacy knitting, increases & decreases
Comments: Because I don't use washcloths, I'm going to send this to my Grandma Isabel. I write to her about my knitting every week, so I think she will like to see the fruits of my labor.
Stitch n Bitch Coney Island Firework Scarf
Yarn: Lamb's Pride Cotton Fleece - Barn Red & Cotton Ball
Plymouth Yarn Dazzlelash
What I Learned: Knit holding two yarns at the same time
Comments: I made a red and a white one of these as Christmas presents. The red one is for Aunt Lana, and the white one is for Christine (white for the bride). I LOVE how this scarf drapes and feels. The eyelash yarn gives it a feather boa effect. Very diva-ish!
Stitch n Bitch Ribbed for Her Pleasure Scarf
Yarn: Lamb's Pride Bulky - Lotus Pink
What I Learned: Ribbing, binding off in rib pattern, I knit too tight
OK, so I'm finally going to post some of my projects
Name: Stitch n Bitch Go-Go Garter Stitch Scarf
Yarn: Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick
What I learned: My first project - cast on, knit, change color, bind off

Stitch n Bitch Nation
I just received the new Stitch n Bitch nation book in the mail today. I can't wait to get started! My problem is, I have such a back-log of projects I don't know when I can get cracking on the SNB stuff. I may need to re-prioritize.
Also, I bought new containers for my stash. It's scary how much it has grown (see comment on back-log).

New magazine
I have been anticipating the new Vogue Knitting magazine that they are putting out for 20 & 30 something knitters. I finally got my paws on it today at Barnes and Noble. It's called Knit.1, and I would definitely recommend it. It has tons of cool patterns, most of which are on the beginner and easy level. I can't wait to knit the roses. I also love the "Knitters Rule" vest. That is listed as an experienced knitter pattern, but I may give it a go.
