Something Red

Pattern: Something Red by Wendy Bernard at Knit and Tonic
Yarn: Rowan Calmer #463 Calmer - 5 balls
Comments: Wonderful pattern, but I made a wrong yarn choice. Calmer, which is one of my all time favorite yarns, just doesn't have enough body for this pattern. It would have turned out much better in a heavier, less spongy, yarn. I'll still wear it though because it is very comfy.

It looks so cute! It may not be exactly what you envisioned, but it looks like a success to me.

Ooh, but it looks so pretty! Huh, I was going to try that one with cotton ease. Now that you've knit it, what do you think of THAT choice?

It does look great on you, even if it's not knitted with the "perfect" yarn. :)

Really? It looks good to me. If that's how it looks with the "wrong" yarn, I can't imagine how great it must look with the right one!

That sweather looks awesome! Wish I could tear myself away from socks long enough. Thanks for the good wishes on returning to blog land! Hopefully I'll get to visit the shop soon!
