Ringlet

(click on picture to see lace detail)

Pattern: Ringlet from Louisa Harding's Swallowtails
Yarn: Louisa Harding Flotsam #3 (discontinued color)

What I Learned: Pressing cotton, especially lace, makes for a beautiful fabric

Notes: I made Ringlet as a shop sample for Yarntopia. I really, really like it. The design is sort of a departure for me. I'm not a big lace knitting fan, but this pattern really called to me. It would be a great project for a beginning lace/sweater knitter. It is really just made of two large squares of lace (front and back) and two small squares of lace (the sleeves).

Beautiful! It's so breezy and relaxed, it just screams summer (for those of us who live in a place where you could only wear something like that during the summer months). I hope you get to wear it for yourself someday!
