City Shawl # 4 & 5

Pattern: City Shawl by Glampyre
Yarns: Plymouth Encore Boucle Colorspun #7175 (3 balls), Rowan Romance #096 Dusk (6 balls)
Comments: I've made 5 of these babies now! It's a easy, quick pattern that is great for gifts. I made one for my grandmother last fall, and the nursing home ruined it. These are her two replacement shawls. I intended the Encore one for everyday use due to the fact that it can be washed and dried. The Romance shawl she can use for special occasions.

I couldn't tell y'all this in my last post, but that Louisa Harding silk sweater I finished last week was a Mother's Day present for my beautiful mom Mary Ann. I gave it to her today. Doesn't she look beautiful in it?

I finished the green sweater that I'm wearing yesterday. I love it!

PATTERN: Fizzle from RYC Summer Breeze

YARN: RYC Luxury Cotton DK in #265 Cabbage, 7 balls

Comments: I HATE SEED STITCH! But gosh, it looks awesome. Another new one for me was attaching the bands with a slip stitch. What a wonderful seaming method!
