Hourglass Sweater

Both my mom and I finished this sweater a few weeks ago. We finally got together today to take a picture. You may recall that my mom and I knit this together as a mini knit-a-long.

Pattern: Hourglass Sweater from Last Minute Knitted Gifts
Yarn: Noro Cash Iroha #93 (mine) & #61 (my mom)
Comments: Easy sweater with a beautiful result. This would be a wonderful first sweater for a new knitter. The Cash Iroha yarn is luxurious and is a treat to knit with. I love the depth of the color.

You two are adorable. Is she as fast a knitter as you are? It seems like you churn out a new FO every week!

YOu are just such a lovely woman and now I can see where you get the looks from. What a great pair of sweaters. It must be great to have the same hobby as your mom to share. What a joy when your girls can join in with the 2 of you!

The sweaters look great on both of you. Great colors you both picked out. You should make mini-hourglass sweaters for your girls & take a photo of the 3 generations! :)

The colors of those sweaters are so beautiful and the sweaters look comfortable, too.

Now you should knit your girls matching sweater so that the four of you can claim to be quadruplets!

Wow Amy, you are a knitting machine! I remember that sweater when on each of our to-do lists at about the same time, but I haven't had a chance to give it even a moment's thought since then. They look fabulous, though, so I will have to give that pattern my renewed attention. Eventually.
