The calm after the storm

We have not much to report here in Katy fortunately. We had some high winds and a sprinkling of rain, but that is about it. Our power went out around 3 am and was back on by 8.

My heart goes out to the people that are going to be stuck on the road again. Traffic is a nightmare.

All is calm in Richmond as well. I am grateful that we were spared the brunt of the storm but feel for those who were not as fortunate. Thank goodness for my knitting projects.

You had a more exciting time than I did--and that's not saying very much :-)

Happy to hear that all is well in Katy.

I'm so glad you and your family are okay! I'm also glad to hear that Katy (and therefore my stash!) probably didn't sustain much damage.
