Amylovie's Nuttin' but Knittin'
I thought this would be a neat way to keep track of my knitting conquest and failures. I may also post a few thoughts I have. Who knows!
About Me
- Name: amylovie
- Location: Katy, Texas, United States
I am a yarn store owner who detests dowdy knits. Knitting can be fashionable, darn it! You can look good in the things that you wear. I'll prove it to you.

The bag looks wonderful! Congrats on the opening of your store! I heard your interview on Pointy Sticks before the opening - wish I were near Houston to come visit y'all. :)
I love the bag - SO cute!
ooooh, pretty!! i'm going to have to track down that pattern for a future project now...
That is a great looking bag! Is the kit very expensive?
So cute!
What a great looking bag. I would love to see it done up in some funky colors like fuschia and lime or even chocolate brown and a hot pink! Oooooooohhhhh.
Ok, gotta go back to painting purgatory. Almost done though!
It's gorgeous. I'm not surprised you didn't want to part with it.
That's my favorite shape for a bag -- so cute! Did you needle felt the little applique on? I don't blame you for not wanting to part with it. What if you took it with you when the shop closed every day, used it in the evenings, and brought it back in time for opening? :)
Very cute!
it looks so cute! can't wait to get a close up in the shop! is anyone doing a sample of a Noni bag?
I'm thinking that kit would make a great present..... I love how it turned out.
Cute Amy! Hey, I think Christine and I are coming to see you on Thursday!!!
That is such a cute bag!
Hi Amy!
Thanks for the reminder. I just spoke with Sheryl about the sock yarn and stuff. woo hooo!!! So exciting!
That is a great bag. I bet your daughter would love to make one like that :)
Every time I'm in your shop, I look at that bag - it is just adorable!
adorable bag -- can't you take it out and use it when the shop's closed? have to check our your pointysticks interview.
I love the bag and the top pictured in the previous post. I also love tassles and had a skirt with tassles on it as a teenager and loved it.
It is a cute bag. Have you seen the Felted Bowling Ball Bag Purse? Similar but uses short rows for shaping and no seams.
