The monster bag

Pattern: Majolica Vase Bag by Noni
Yarn: Nashua Creative Focus Worsted:
base-#3249 Chocolat, #3317 Mint
flowers - #2055 Carmin

This - Bag - is - HUUUUGE! My favorite part was knitting the base of the bag because it is done in fair isle. Because this is a display for the store, I followed the directions exactly. If I were to make it for myself, I would shorten the handles.

Don'tcha love the color combo? Yarntopia colors, natch.

The bag is gorgeous! I agree with Cherry Blossom, the twisting handle into different colors rocks!!

What an amazing bag! It almost looks like something out of a Dr. Seuss book :)

Oh, it looks so fabulous! I love how it turned out. I can't wait to knit my Noni bags!

I may be back at Yarntopia this weekend for another knitter meet-up! Whee! (This time it is a knitter I have met before - she is coming in from Austin and needs to see the yarn shops!)

Hey, have you seen the PointySticks button? I would love to be along with your buttons in the sidebar! :D

Whoa! That is a bag! Great job, and great color choices. (I think I've mentioned before (and probably will again, because I think I have early-onset memory loss) that I'm partial to your Yarntopia colors because they are quite similar to my blog theme colors. :)
